The Guzum Project brings together democratic forms of expression and fashion, aiming to develop new production methods and participatory models.
Continuing its work in Eskişehir and online until February 2026 within the scope of the CultureCIVIC: Arts and Culture Support Program, Guzum will use waste as its raw material. Clothing designs inspired by rights violations will be produced with unused fabrics. At the end of the year, the designs will be presented to the public through a “Democracy Fashion Show” to be held both on Pavyon Sanat’s official channels and in the streets of Eskişehir.
In the future, Guzum and Pavyon Sanat will not limit themselves to fashion, but will also carry out work on sustainable furniture and accessible clean food, keeping their doors particularly open to creative young people.
About Pavyon Sanat
Pavyon Sanat is an independent initiative focusing on young artists and cultural actors aged 18–35. While it does not directly engage in artistic production, it works on areas such as artists’ rights and cultural rights, focusing on empowering young people who particularly face difficulties in becoming visible and claiming their rights. While maintaining its main area of work, the initiative also develops projects in various fields ranging from politics to economics.
Established in 2022, it continues its activities in collaboration with Toy Youth Association, building a local organization and advocacy mechanism specifically in Eskişehir. Since its foundation, it has been operating on a non-profit basis to generate data for the field, develop advocacy mechanisms, and ensure visibility.
