In the workshop, academics, search and rescue teams, psychosocial support experts, representatives from public institutions and non-governmental organizations will discuss post-disaster response processes, psychosocial needs and practices at national and international level.
The workshop aims to share the well-established disaster psychology practices in Japan and to provide a strong information exchange environment between the two countries through mutual exchange of experience in this field. At the end of the workshop, it is also planned to develop long-term cooperation in the field of disaster psychology and to prepare a concrete strategy and action plan.
