International Conference: Feminist Perspectives on Care Labor in Times of Crisis. Who is Responsible?

The following questions will be discussed at the conference;

• There is no one who does not need care. How are care services organized when it is part of life to care and be cared for? Why is the responsibility for caregiving only on women?
• What are the inevitable social consequences of having only women responsible for care?
• How can we reorganize care services within the concept of social equality? What should be the responsibilities of the public, local governments, and men in these services?
• How should care work and care services be designed to eliminate gender inequality? What regulations are needed in working conditions and care services to ensure work-life balance and care work?
• How does increasing care work affect the poor, migrant women, and victims of internal migration? How can we address the vulnerabilities and disadvantages of these groups?
• What are the experiences/policies in different countries regarding care work? What are good examples?
• What are the parties' approaches to this issue in the 2023 elections? What are the policies regarding institutions that are under the responsibility of the state and provide care work, such as kindergartens and nursing homes?
