The International Refugee Rights Association (IRRA) has opened applications for its Fall 2025 Volunteer Internship Program, which will run from 1 October to 31 December 2025. The program aims to provide experience in the fields of refugee rights, legal support, advocacy, and social participation.
About the program
- Dates: 1 October – 31 December 2025
- Duration: A total of 192 hours (3 months)
- Application deadline: 20 September 2025
- Location: IRRA central office in Istanbul and field activities (limited opportunities for online participation are available).
Scope of work
- Supporting human rights monitoring and reporting processes in removal centers and detention facilities.
- Contributing to advocacy and awareness-raising activities aimed at combating discrimination and promoting social cohesion.
- Actively assisting in the organization of trainings, workshops, and field programs.
Who can apply?
- Students and young professionals interested in human rights, law, social work, political science, and related fields.
- No prior experience is required; motivation, sense of responsibility, and openness to learning are prioritized.
