It is possible to do what is right for children: You are invited to the Children's Rights Programming webinar

A child rights-centered approach is no longer a choice but a necessity for civil society organizations working with and for children. We invite civil society organizations that wish to align their programs with child rights principles, establish a rights-based organizational structure, and strengthen their advocacy work to our webinar.

With the participation of international child rights consultant and advocate Adem Arkadaş-Thibert, we will discuss information and tools that NGOs can directly use in their work in the webinar titled “Doing What’s Right for Children: Child Rights Programming for Practitioners,” which we will organize on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. In the meeting, we will address the following topics.

  • What is child rights programming and why is it important?
  • How is a child rights situation analysis conducted?
  • What are rights-based program planning processes and how are they conducted?
  • Mechanisms for monitoring, evaluation, learning, and feedback
  • Child rights advocacy
  • Child rights programming in emergencies

The webinar will be held via Zoom on Tuesday, January 13, from 14:00 to 15:00.

You can register for the event here.

This event is organized within the scope of the “Accountability for Children, Advocacy for Rights” (ACAR) Project, co-financed by the European Union; and as part of the “Project to Strengthen the Monitoring, Reporting, and Advocacy Capacity of NGOs Working in the Field of Children’s Rights” conducted in strategic partnership with UNICEF.
