Inspections that directly affect the activities of civil society organizations continue to be one of the main factors shaping the agenda of civil society.
In recent years, inspection processes have become increasingly complex, shaping many areas from organizations' operational capacity to their decision-making mechanisms. Sharing experiences regarding the scope, frequency, and implementation methods of inspections carried out by different public institutions is also critically important for developing policy recommendations tailored to needs.
In this context, as part of our Monitoring Freedom of Association-II Project, carried out in collaboration with the Third Sector Foundation of Turkey (TÜSEV) with the support of the European Union, we would like to listen to the experiences of CSOs in order to identify problems encountered during inspections and to develop solutions.
- Was your organization inspected by any public institution between 2024 and 2026?
- Which institution(s) conducted the inspection?
- Were any issues identified as a result of the inspection? If so, how did these processes affect your organization's work?
By answering these and similar questions, you can contribute to discussing this issue and developing joint solutions by sharing your experiences.
How can you participate?
You can fill out the survey we have prepared to contribute to the visibility of the current situation and to strengthen our solution proposals together, until Sunday, April 26, at 11:59 PM. You can access the survey here.
We look forward to hearing your opinions so that we can raise the voice of civil society together.
