Leyli Art Association Seeks Volunteers to Continue Solidarity with the Earthquake Region

Leyli Art Association is looking for volunteers who live in Istanbul and want to be active in the field of music in order to continue solidarity with the earthquake-affected cities on a regular basis after the Kahramanmaras Earthquakes. The deadline for volunteer applications is July 31, 2023.

Volunteers will start their work and organize events after a meeting and orientation meeting.

The call text of the association is as follows;

February 6 was one of the days when we all felt the most helpless. While some of us mobilized to join search and rescue teams thanks to our competencies, some of us worked hard to ensure that the aid from the local area was collected and delivered as quickly as possible. However, although the normal flow of life returns to normal after a while for those living far from the earthquake zone, unfortunately, the traces of the disaster still remain in the earthquake zone.

At this stage, we recognize the importance of solidarity with earthquake victims, from individuals to organizations, and we are delighted to share our work with you. As Leyli Art Association, we plan to activate the unifying power of music as a way to foster solidarity with earthquake victims. With the strength we gain from knowing that we are not alone, we invite all our friends who want to support us on this journey, to join us in creating together and with the motivation that the output of our work will make a small contribution to someone's life.

As Leyli Art Association, we have planned to embark on a journey with a collective music group, consisting of our existing musician friends among us and those who wish to join us. Through regular events, we aim to use the proceeds we generate, regardless of the amount, to support earthquake victims and foster solidarity with them.

We extend an open invitation to all musician friends who wish to support us on this journey. Your presence among us will strengthen us further on the path we aspire to take. With our instruments and voices, we aim to come together beyond the walls of helplessness and foster solidarity. We hope to meet and amplify the spirit of solidarity together.

Volunteer candidates can apply here. After the evaluations, representatives of the association will contact the candidates.

All communication will be made via [email protected] e-mail address and 0554 185 12 24 phone number.
