The Lloyd's of London Foundation has announced its 2025/2026 grant call for researchers, academic institutions, public organizations, and civil society organizations working in the field of climate change and disaster risk management.
Program Objective
The Lloyd's of London Foundation aims to support applied research that reduces disaster risks, increases community resilience, and promotes adaptation to climate change. The program aims to expand risk management knowledge and make this knowledge applicable in both the public and private sectors.
Projects with innovative and concrete impact potential in the following areas will be given priority.
- Risk analysis and management for communities
- Climate change adaptation and mitigation
- Risk research related to fires, floods, droughts, weather changes, and disasters
- Research aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Eligibility
The following applicants will be considered under this call:
- Universities and academic institutions
- Independent researchers
- Public institutions
- NGOs and foundations
- Actors in the insurance and reinsurance sector
