Local Advocacy School Looking for 5th Term Students

The Local Advocacy School, conducted in cooperation with the Local Monitoring, Research and Applications Association (YERELİZ) and the Bahçeşehir College Migration and Urban Studies Center (BAUMUS), is seeking students for the fifth semester, which will be held in cooperation with the Istanbul City Council (İKK).

 

The program, which will take place on November 18-19-20, will be held at Gazhane Museum and Beşiktaş Campus of Bahçeşehir College between 9:30-17:30 for 3 full days.

This year, Local Advocacy School offers a special program for civil society organizations that want to bring their local demands to the national agenda and enables participants:

  1.  To expand their knowledge of how local governments work and how to build partnerships and collaborative development processes with local governments to strengthen the dialog and advocacy processes they undertake to address local needs and demands.
  2. To strengthen their capacity to influence national decision makers for local needs and demands.
