L’Oréal for the Future Program

The L'Oréal for the Future Programme will provide €150 million in support and investments focused on social impact, environmental sustainability and social good. The programme, which is a global sustainability strategy developed with the company's sense of responsibility towards the environment and society, aims to transform Loreal's production processes and support civil initiatives that combat social inequalities by 2030.

Programme Components and Support Areas

Environmental Sustainability Commitments

  • By 2025, all L'Oréal facilities will be carbon neutral by using 100% renewable energy
  • 100% recycled or bio-based plastics in all packaging by 2030
  • 95% of product ingredients are derived from natural or circular sources
  • 100% recycling and reuse of waste

Social Impact and Solidarity Funds

  • Women's Support Fund (€50 million): Financial support to CSOs supporting vulnerable women
  • Nature Restoration Fund (€50 million): Investing in projects focussing on ecosystem restoration and biodiversity
  • Circular Economy Fund (€50 million): Investing in initiatives that contribute to waste management and sustainable production systems

Supply Chain and Consumer Awareness

  • Reducing carbon emissions at suppliers
  • Promoting fair wages and human rights standards
  • Ensuring transparency in products through environmental and social labelling systems
