Persian Translator

Job Description:
- Providing written and oral Turkish-Persian and Persian-Turkish translation support for Mavi Kalem's projects focusing on individuals from the asylum seeker and refugee community,
- Written translations of the contents produced within the scope of the project into Persian
- Providing oral and written translation support in online or face-to-face meetings with clients
- Providing oral and written translation support in the activities carried out within the scope of the project
Required Qualifications:
- Very good knowledge of Persian language (reading, writing, speaking)
- Very good knowledge of the Turkish language (reading, writing, speaking)
- Able to communicate comfortably and easily verbally and in writing
- Able to use office programs and digital communication programs (Zoom, Skype) at a good level,
- Preferably with working experience in Non-Governmental organizations.

Legal Advisor
Mavi Kalem Association is looking for a female teammate to give legal advice to refugees and asylum seekers.

- Working Place: Istanbul (Alternate Zeytinburnu and Fatih)
- Educational Status: Bachelor/Master
Works to be carried out:
- Providing face-to-face legal counseling and guidance to refugees and asylum seekers
- To hold informative meetings on immigration and refugee law, international protection/temporary protection write reports of their work
Required Qualifications:
- University degree in Law
- Able to communicate comfortably, easily, and positively, both verbally and in writing
- Compatible with teamwork
- Have at least 1-year experience in the field
- Knowing legal regulations and legislation related to refugees and asylum seekers,
- Preferably have experience working with refugee and asylum seeker women and children
