Job Description
- The Monitoring and Advocacy Specialist to be assigned in the Monitoring of Freedom of Association Project carried out by STGM is expected to fulfill the following duties.
- To monitor and evaluate current developments in the field of civil society in the world and in Turkey, and to inform CSOs through information notes and similar tools,
- To follow all developments in the field of freedom of association (legislation, monitoring reports, reports published at international level, etc.) and coordinate monitoring processes,
- To prepare monitoring reports to be published by STGM,
- Coordinating the field surveys to be conducted by STGM (preparation of specifications, coordination of field studies, coordination of the preparation processes of field reports)
- Organizing study visits abroad,
- Organizing meetings with CSOs within the scope of monitoring activities to be carried out,
- To support the training activities carried out by STGM.
Qualifications and experience
- Graduating from four-year departments of universities
- At least 10 years of work experience in civil society,
- At least 5 years of experience in monitoring freedom of association,
- Previous experience in preparing monitoring reports on fundamental rights or freedom of association is preferred.
- Have a very good level of English proficiency,
