Within the scope of the Mor Barış Circles Project, an in-person meeting will be held in Gaziantep on Monday, February 2, 2026. Organized by the Global Equality and Inclusivity Network Association in partnership with FEMIN UP Association and FEMPACT Social Impact-Focused Equal Opportunity Network, and with the local partnership of the Real Equality, Pluralism, and Inclusivity Association, this meeting aims to reflect on peace together through everyday life practices.
Purple Peace Circles were designed as a community-based initiative that addresses peace not only through major political processes, but also through relationships that make everyday life possible, care work, local solidarity practices, and the life knowledge that women develop during times of crisis. This approach centers women not only as those affected, but also as agents who produce knowledge, develop solutions, and take on transformative roles at the local level. It aims to open spaces for trust-based dialogue in communities that intensely experience the effects of multiple crises.
