A face-to-face meeting will be held in Van as part of the Purple Peace Circles Project, which is carried out by the Association for Global Equality and Inclusion Network in partnership with FEMIN UP Association and FEMPACT Social Impact-Oriented Equal Opportunity Network.
The event titled “Purple Peace Circles – Van Meeting: Rethinking Peace in Everyday Life” aims to address the concept of peace not only through political processes, but also through the relationships that sustain daily life, care work, local solidarity practices, and the knowledge women develop during times of crisis.
The project adopts a community-based approach that centers women as actors who generate knowledge, develop solutions, and take on transformative roles at the local level. The goal is to create spaces for trust-based dialogue in communities that are heavily affected by multiple crises.
