Motorola Solutions Foundation Grant Call: Support for First Responders and STEM Education

Motorola Solutions Foundation has started accepting applications to support non-governmental organizations working in the fields of "First Response Teams" and "Technology and Engineering Education.

The foundation provides funding to projects in two main focus areas:

  • First Responder Programs: Mental health and stress management training, scholarships, safety preparedness, and leadership development for first responder teams (police, fire, health, etc.) and their families.
  • Technology and Engineering Education: Hands-on engineering, coding, robotics activities and scholarship programs for underprivileged/disadvantaged groups (women, minorities, people with disabilities, etc.) in particular.

Who Can Apply?

Nonprofit Organizations: Organizations outside the USA (such as Turkey) must be able to document that they are equivalent to a US 501(c)(3) charitable organization (Charitable Equivalency).

The program is global; the foundation has stated it awarded grants in 22 countries in 2025.

Grant Support

The maximum grant amount that new applicants can request is 50,000 USD.

(Returning/previously funded partners may request more than $50,000).

Important Dates

  • Inquiry Form Deadline: January 22, 2026, 11:59 p.m. (Central Time).
  • Full Application Invitation (for selected applicants): End of March 2026.
  • Full Application Deadline: April 20, 2026.
  • Announcement of Results: August 2026.
