Mustafa Akgül Free Software Winter Camp Starts on January 30

Anyone interested in Linux and Free Software can attend the Winter Camp, organised in cooperation with the Linux Users Association and Anadolu University, free of charge. The training sessions will take place between January 30 and February 2 at the Yunus Emre Campus of Anadolu University.

Volunteer experts will participate in the Free Software Camp organised by the Linux Users Association to develop the philosophy of "free software" based on production and sharing in Turkey. It is planned to offer trainings on many important topics within the scope of the camp, for which anyone who wants to learn and is determined to make an effort can apply as a participant.

In the winter camp, where new business models related to the free software movement, which aims to eliminate the limitations of software, will be put on the agenda, the topics of vendor dependency and preventing the monopolisation of software will also be covered in the courses.

The aim of the "Mustafa Akgül Free Software Camp" named after Mustafa Akgül who has been making great efforts to spread free software in Turkey since 2018 is to eliminate the limits of software.

No fee is charged to the participants who are admitted to the training courses. The training courses are held simultaneously in classes that address different levels of knowledge in different areas.
Accommodation, travel and meal costs are covered by the participants themselves.
