Purposes and the Way of Work
To improve the well-being and rights of children and young people,
- To produce, develop and share information about policy and practice,
- To monitor and influence policy development at European level,
- To develop interest groups and partnerships among members in European countries,
- To form partnerships with other European associations that share common goals,
- To influence and advise international organizations such as the European Commission, the European Parliament, the Council of Europe and the United Nations,
- To support and develop the capacity of the members,
- To empower children and young people to have their voices heard.
Membership Criteria
Eurochild has 165 members in 33 countries. Eurochild membership is open to all organizations and individuals from the social and non-profit sectors concerned with the welfare and rights of children and young people in Europe.
There are three categories of membership:
Full Membership, Limited Membership, Honorary Membership.
