
EEB has very close links and advisory level relations with the Council of Europe, the European Parliament, the European Community Economic and Social Committee, the OECD and the United Nations Commission on Sustainable Development.
Purposes and the Way of Work
The main objective of the EEB is to ensure the protection and improvement of the environment in the European region and to enable European citizens to take their part in achieving this goal.
Membership Criteria
EEB has more than 150 member organizations from 30 countries. Non-governmental organizations operating in the field of environment and nature conservation can be a member of EEB.
There are three membership categories: Full, affiliate and honorary.
