European Network Against Racism (ENAR-EU)

ENAR is the only pan-European anti-racism network that combines advocacy for racial equality and facilitating cooperation among civil society anti-racism actors in Europe. The organisation was set up in 1998 by grassroots activists on a mission to achieve legal changes at European level and make decisive progress towards racial equality in all EU Member States.

Purposes

Aim of the ENAR is to end structural racism in the European Union and to build structures, institutions and attitudes based on race equality and equal distribution of power, privileges and rights. 

Membership Criteria

All types of NGOs (associations, professional associations, charities, specialist organizations, public organizations, etc.) that carry out anti-racist activities at local, regional, national and European level can be a member of ENAR. Applicant organizations must be legally established by the laws and practices of their countries.
