Purposes and the Way of Work
The aim of this network is to improve the quality of life for all children in Europe by:
- Encouraging the best possible implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child,
- Supporting individual and collective lobbying activities for the rights and interests of the child across Europe and in international structures (e.g. European Union, Council of Europe, Committee on the Rights of the Child),
- Sharing information, approaches and strategies, including comparative studies for the benefit of children,
- Providing a forum environment for individual offices to develop new ideas and gain support,
- Supporting and encouraging the development of effective offices to advocate for children independently.
Membership Criteria
ENOC has two membership categories: full membership and associate membership. Full membership in ENOC is open to independent children's rights organizations / institutions in Council of Europe member states.
