Nonviolent Campaign Training from the Center for Nonviolence

Participants in the nonviolent campaign training;

• Will understand what nonviolence is and how it relates to campaign planning,
• Will gain experience with strategic campaign planning,
• Will understand nonviolent tactics and be able to select tactics that fit the campaign strategy,
• Will learn decision making methods,
• Will develop effective meeting skills.

When and where

The course will take place between September 4 and 8 from 10:30-17:30 in Istanbul.

Who can register and how?

• Those who are involved in a rights-based civil society organization or community (if the organization or community is already a campaign planning organization and/or aims at non-violent campaign planning),
• Those who are activists who wants to work for change,
• Those who want to plan a nonviolent campaign,
• Those who are able to attend all 5 days in person can register for the training via the registration form by 11:59pm on August 20.

The number of participants is limited to 20 people. Those who wish to attend the training from outside Istanbul, which is also open to participants from Istanbul, can register in October.

The results of the application will be announced by e-mail no later than August 25.
