The OPEC Fund Grant Program has issued a call for proposals to support projects with high development impact in developing countries. The main objective of the program is to finance projects that support development in sectors such as agriculture, energy, health, transportation, water, and sanitation. Projects are expected to be aligned with the OPEC Fund's strategic objectives and, where possible, complementary to the organization's existing activities in the relevant country.
Purpose
The OPEC Fund Grant Program supports projects with clear, measurable development impact and strong alignment with the OPEC Fund’s strategic goals. Country-specific projects are preferred when they complement existing OPEC Fund operations.

- Government bodies
- NGOs & Non-profits
- Research institutions
- UN agencies
- International NGOs
- Private sector (as co-financing partners)
Note: Non-government applicants must provide official government approval for the project.
Application Process
- Applications accepted any time of the year
- New applications for the same country should await successful completion of ongoing grants
- Submission via OPEC Fund Grant Application Form + required documents (see Annex)
