Peer Conversations continue: Youth-Oriented Space Approach & Design

The third meeting of the online "Peer Conversations" series, conducted within the scope of the Meaningful and Inclusive Youth Participation Development (Peer) Project, will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026. The guest of the conversation will be Cemre Gökpınar, an art historian, entrepreneur, and researcher, as well as one of the founders of Aks Creative Hub.

The main theme of the talk organized within the scope of the Peer Project’s “Join, Add Meaning” digital campaign has been determined as “Youth-Based Spatial Approaches and Design.” The event, which will proceed online in a chat format, will be conducted with a moderator and will last approximately 45 minutes.

The talk is designed using a participatory method, aiming for the active involvement of young people in the process. In this context, participants will be asked questions via a survey under three subheadings; the most voted questions will be forwarded to the speaker. The final 15 minutes of the event will be reserved for open sharing.

The topics to be discussed during the talk are as follows:

  • Current Situation Analysis: How youth-friendly are youth spaces?
  • Field Experience and Research: Mapping needs
  • Solutions and Future: Youth-based space design

To participate in the event, the registration form must be filled out. The deadline for applications is February 16, 2026 at 10:00 AM.
