The Program for Discovering Cultural Heritage Through Play is Starting: Applications Are Open

Inspired by ancient and traditional games, Oyun Atlası has started accepting applications for its "Cultural Heritage and Game Learning Program," designed with a social impact-oriented approach that reinterprets cultural heritage through play.

The program aims to rethink cultural heritage through play, experience, and design; by reducing the distance young people feel towards cultural spaces, it seeks to make them not only participants but also creators. Within the scope of the program, participants will:

  • Discover the culture of play from antiquity to today
  • Work on gamification and experience design
  • Discuss the place of cultural heritage in collective memory
  • Design their own gamified routes based on the museum experience.

The implementation process of the program will be carried out in cooperation with the Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts. Content consultancy will be provided together with Terra Memoria.

After their museum experiences, participants will develop game-based route designs that make cultural spaces more interactive for young people. At the end of the program, certificates will be given, and participants will have the opportunity to take part in peer learning models in the future.
