Pure Earth is accepting applications for its Opportunity Fund to support projects that address pollution and its health impacts. The goal of the fund is to finance local organizations that are developing and implementing solutions to identify, reduce, and prevent toxic pollution in low- and middle-income countries.
Who Can Apply?
- Legally registered NGOs, CSOs, universities, or other non-profit entities.
- Preference is given to organizations based in the low- or middle-income country or region where the project activities will take place. (Turkey is an eligible country.)
Grant Award
- Grants range from USD $10,000 to $100,000 for a 12-month period.
- Projects may be renewed for an additional 12 months.
Key Dates
The program has quarterly deadlines for proposals:
- December 1, 2025
- March 1, 2026
- June 1, 2026
- September 1, 2026
Application Process
The application is a two-step process:
- First, applicants must fill out a screening form.
- If basic requirements are met, applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal.
