The Association for Global Equality and Inclusion Network and Mor Merdiven, with contributions from Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) Turkey, are organizing a workshop in Şanlıurfa on July 3-4, 2026, aiming to strengthen women's equal and safe participation in local decision-making processes.
The workshop will address the concept of the cost of participation that women face in public and digital spaces. Participants will jointly evaluate the effects of factors such as digital violence, security concerns, caregiving burdens, time constraints, barriers to representation, and lack of data on local women's leadership.
The program will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn Şanlıurfa from 13:00 to 17:00 on both days. Participation is limited to a certain quota. You can access the application form via the link:
