At least one project from each continent will receive a grant of USD 2,500, and up to 10 small-scale projects from around the world will receive a grant of USD 1,000.
The fund will prioritise projects run by individuals from different ethnic backgrounds or socioeconomically disadvantaged groups. In addition, any initiative to increase diversity and inclusion in social skateboarding is also within the scope of support. These projects may include skateboarding programmes, events, paid positions or internships for young people from communities affected by racism.
The aim of the fund is to encourage the development of a more inclusive and representative leadership in social skateboarding in the coming years. In this direction, it is aimed to direct more financial resources, visibility and opportunities to this field.
