The training series entitled “Right to Information: A Powerful Tool for Transparency,” organized by the International Press Institute (IPI), continues in Istanbul. The training will provide journalists and civil society organizations with knowledge on the right to information and how this right can be effectively used in their work.
The training will take place on Saturday, 20 September 2025, from 13:30 to 16:30 at Umayla Yaşam Suadiye. The session will address the importance of the right to information, effective application methods, and how the information obtained from applications can be used in research. Legal remedies available in cases of rejected or unanswered applications will also be discussed.
The training will be delivered by journalists Elif İnce and Ahmet Kavruk.
