SES Equality and Solidarity Association Discusses The Reasons for Watching TV Series

The SES Equality and Solidarity Association invites you to the meeting "A Real Life Story: How Did We All Become TV Series Watchers?" on Tuesday evening, February 13, 2024. During the meeting, the TV series that have managed to keep viewers glued to the screen again and the reasons to watch them will be discussed.

Academician Aylin Dağsalgüler and journalist and writer Elçin Yahşi will be the speakers of the event.

Time: Tuesday, February 13, 2024, 18.00 - 20.00

Venue: Serenita, SES Sharing Center (Tomtom Mah. Sefer Bostanı Sok. No:1/A Beyoğlu)

About the speakers

Dr. Aylin Dağsalgüler works as a lecturer at Istanbul Bilgi College, Faculty of Communication, Department of Media. Her areas of research and interest include the political economy of media, network society, audience studies, screen studies and television culture.

Elçin Yahşi, who started his professional life as a journalist, writer and editor, was the editor-in-chief of Radikal Cumartesi and Sabah Ek Publications. Yahşi, who once wrote for Hürriyet Newspaper, is the editor of the Screen and Cinema section at Gazete Oksijen.
