Targeted Impact
SOILSCAPE aims to support initiatives that contribute to the eight key objectives of the European Commission's “A Soil Deal for Europe” mission. These objectives include:
• Preventing desertification
• Preserving organic carbon stocks
• Sustainable use of soil cover
• Reducing and remediating soil contamination
• Preventing erosion
• Improving soil structure in a manner conducive to biodiversity
• Reducing the EU’s global soil footprint
• Enhancing soil literacy.
