Organised by the Global Equality and Inclusion Network Association (KAPI) and 1984 Association (D84) in partnership with the support of Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Turkey Representative Office (FES) and hosted by Seyhan Municipality, ‘Strong Collaborations for Gender Equality at Local Level Programme’ will be held in Adana on 23-24 May 2025.
Programme details
- Day 1 (Friday 23 May): Capacity building training will be organised for women mukhtars and headmen. The training modules were prepared by Dr Ayşe Kaşıkırık and Prof. Dr Ayşe Gül Yılgör. 
- Day 2 (Saturday 24 May): Panels and workshops will be organised with the participation of women mukhtars, local councilors, municipal council members, local administrators and civil society representatives. 
The event will be held at Seyhan Municipality Technology and Innovation Centre (Seytim).
