The Maypole Fund, which supports anti-war and anti-militarist feminist activism and provides small grants, is continuing to accept applications for new projects.
The fund, which operates on an international scale, provides financial support for feminist direct actions, activities and projects. The fund aims to support initiatives that combat different forms of militarism in meaningful and creative ways at the local level.
Application Requirements
Applications must meet the following criteria:
- The project must be peaceful and non-violent in its approach
- It must incorporate a feminist perspective and clearly express it
- It must incorporate politically creative and original methods
- It must be consistent with the objectives of the Maypole Fund
What Types of Projects Are Supported?
- Feminist peace activism
- Creative campaigns against militarism
- Artistic works that amplify women's anti-war voices
- Politically effective direct action projects such as education, capacity building, and awareness raising
Application Process
Applications are accepted twice a year. Applications for the June 2025 period are currently open.
Application deadline: 30 June 2025
