As part of France’s feminist diplomacy, the Support Fund for Feminist Organizations (FSOF) provides funding to feminist civil society organizations operating in AFD’s partner countries.
Objective
The fund aims to strengthen feminist civil society organizations in France’s partner countries to reduce gender-based inequalities and promote women's rights.
Who can apply?
- Feminist organizations in all their diversity (formal or informal) operating in:
- Priority countries of France’s development policy, or
- Countries facing significant gender equality challenges
Eligible applicants include
- French feminist organizations
- Local feminist civil society organizations (CSOs) with the financial and operational capacity to manage intermediary funding
- This call seeks to select a consortium of international, regional, or national feminist CSOs from France's partner countries. The selected consortium will manage €4 million in funding to support feminist organizations in Africa, the Near East, and the Middle East, with a specific focus on combating gender-based and technology-facilitated violence.
