Support for NGOs working in the field of digital rights from Metamorphosis Foundation & TechSoup

Metamorphosis Foundation and TechSoup have announced the "Digital Spark" grants for civil society actors working in the field of digital rights and civic engagement in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. The program, which accepts applications from Turkey, will provide financial support for institutional stability and strategic growth.

Program purpose

The project carried out within the scope of the Digital Democracy Initiative (DDI) aims to strengthen the capacity of local organizations and activists working in the fields of digital democracy, civic participation, and digital rights. The main goal is to create a freer and more inclusive digital civic space.

Who can apply?

  • CSOs (Associations, Foundations, etc.)
  • Activists and initiatives: Civil groups without legal entity.
  • Priority: Grassroots organizations, youth-led formations, and underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.
  • Geographical Scope: Countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia, including Turkey.

Supported activities and grant types

The program offers grants in two different categories.

  • Institutional Stability Grants

This category aims to ensure the operational sustainability of the organization and cover core costs. The grant budget is 13,000 USD (fixed amount).

  • Strategic Growth Small Grants

This category covers turning a specific idea into action, small-scale projects, or capacity-building activities. The maximum grant budget is 4,500 USD.

Applications are submitted in English through the Metamorphosis Foundation's online system.
