Support Program for Girls Begins in Antalya

Objectives

• To strengthen girls’ self-confidence, leadership, and life skills,
• To promote equal opportunities in education, culture-arts, and environment,
• To support girls in discovering and developing their full potential,
• To build a rights-based and inclusive ecosystem,
• To create lasting social impact in collaboration with local actors and volunteers.

Priorities

• At least 60% of the direct target group must consist of girls,
• Activities must take place in Antalya,
• Projects must adopt a rights-based approach,
• Projects should increase girls’ participation, self-confidence, and social skills,
• Projects should provide opportunities in education, culture-arts, environment, and life skills.

Focus Areas

• Education and Life Skills: Academic achievement, prevention of school dropouts, digital literacy, STEM, and language skills.
• Culture, Arts and Creativity: Art workshops, exhibitions, performances, and creative activities.
• Environmental Sustainability and Climate Awareness: Nature activities, environmental protection, recycling, and climate action projects.
• Rights-Based Approach and Social Participation: Children’s rights workshops, leadership, mentoring, and gender equality awareness.
• Urban Connection and City Culture: Exploring cultural heritage, engaging in city life, and developing publications on urban rights and responsibilities.

Scope of Support

• In-kind support amount: 20,000 TL – 50,000 TL
• Implementation period: September 2025 – December 2025
• Payments will be made directly to suppliers.
• Applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis. The call will be closed once funds are exhausted.
