Support Programme for Mathematics Conferences Applications Opened

The International Mathematical Union (IMU), through the Commission for Developing Countries (CDC), has started accepting applications for 2025 under its ‘Conference Support Programme’. This programme aims to provide partial financial support to mathematics-based conferences and research schools in developing countries.

Aim of the programme

The Conference Support Programme provides partial support for conferences and research schools in the mathematical sciences in developing countries, in particular to cover travel and accommodation costs for invited speakers and participants from these countries. In exceptional cases, conferences organised in developed countries and inviting mathematicians from developing countries may also be supported.
