WAFF has launched the 2026 “Youth To The Front Fund: The Creatives” grant program to support young leaders who use art and creativity as tools for social change and improvement. The program aims to provide direct funding, strategic resources, and mentorship to young creatives working in the fields of social justice and equality.
Supported fields and activities
Within the program, projects in various fields such as visual arts, performance, music, design, film, digital creativity, and cultural strategy are supported. Projects must focus on at least one of the following thematic areas:
- Art and Social Justice: Practices that challenge systemic inequalities and use art as a transformative tool.
- Civic and Social Engagement: Projects that deepen democratic participation and build collective power within the community.
- Climate Justice: Initiatives that address environmental harm through sustainability and equity-based community solutions.
- Equal Opportunity in Education: Efforts that increase access to inclusive learning for disadvantaged communities.
Eligibility criteria
- Individual creatives, initiatives, or creative collectives operating globally (including Turkey) can apply.
- Founders or leaders of the applying entities must be under 30 years of age.
- Priority is given to projects that challenge systemic inequalities, oppose discrimination, and focus on disadvantaged/marginalized communities.
