Survey call from the Center for Democracy Studies on the use of artificial intelligence in NGOs

The Center for Democracy Studies (CDR) is seeking contributions for its Survey on the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Civil Society Organizations. The survey aims to understand the experiences, needs, and risks faced by civil society organizations regarding the use of artificial intelligence.

CDR, which operates at the intersection of public policy and technology, aims to analyze the areas in which civil society in Turkey uses artificial intelligence, its role in ethical and advocacy processes, and its current needs through this field study conducted within the scope of the Gov2AI program.

In this context, the findings of the previously completed 2024 study “Gov2AI: Use and Impacts of Artificial Intelligence in CSOs” will be updated with a new survey. Based on the data obtained, capacity building activities, training and workshop content, as well as guide materials, are planned to be shaped according to real needs in the field. The survey results will also serve as the basis for a report to be shared with the public.

It is stated that the information shared will be analyzed anonymously and in an aggregated manner, and individual responses will not be disclosed at the institutional level.
