The “General Communiqué on the Accessibility of Web and Mobile Applications” published on June 21 has made the accessibility of digital services an important agenda item not only for public institutions but also for non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Aiming to strengthen inclusion in the digital world, the communiqué requires NGOs to make their websites and mobile applications compliant with accessibility standards.
In this context, an online discussion titled “The Digital Accessibility Communiqué and Being an Accessible NGO” is being organized to address the questions and uncertainties NGOs face in the field of digital accessibility. The discussion will seek answers to questions such as “Where should we start?”, “Are our current digital tools accessible?”, and “How should the technical and legal processes be managed?”
The event, which will be held online at 20:00 on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, is intended for all NGO representatives who wish to create a roadmap in the field of digital accessibility and will be free of charge. The participation link for the discussion, for which there is limited capacity, will be shared separately with representatives of institutions who apply.
