A call for Community-Led Actions (CLA) has been launched to scale up and implement innovative solutions that will contribute to the restoration of marine ecosystems in the Mediterranean basin.
The aim of the program is to transfer research and innovations developed at a pilot level in the Mediterranean sea basin to real operational conditions. Supported projects are expected to make tangible contributions to the objectives of preventing pollution, protecting biodiversity, and making the blue economy carbon neutral.
Who can apply?
Legal entities based in EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries (including Türkiye) can apply to the call.
- Applications must be submitted by consortia consisting of at least two different legal entities.
- At least one consortium partner must be based in the Mediterranean basin, and all project activities must be carried out within the Mediterranean basin.
- Eligible organizations include local/regional authorities, NGOs, research institutions, SMEs, ports, and stakeholders from the fisheries and aquaculture sectors.
Grant and duration
- Grant amount per project: €200,000 – €1,400,000
- Maximum grant per partner: Generally €500,000
- Total budget: €7,000,000
- Project duration: Maximum 24 months
