The Zendesk Foundation has opened applications for the Tech for Good Impact Awards for 2025. The programme aims to provide grants ranging from USD 5,000 to USD 50,000 and free software donations to civil society organisations around the world. Applications will be accepted until 15 August 2025 at 23:59 (ET).
Aim of the programme
With the Tech for Good Impact Awards, the Zendesk Foundation supports projects that aim to create social impact in the following three main areas.
- Strengthening communities: Building connections that provide support and solidarity.
- Increasing resilience in times of crisis: Protecting against disasters and reducing human suffering.
- Creating career pathways in technology: Reducing inequality of economic opportunity and reducing unemployment.
Eligibility criteria
Organisations that will apply must meet the following conditions.
- Be a non-profit organisation and be able to document this.
- Not be a current or past Zendesk client or grant recipient.
- Only submit applications in English and via the online form.
- Not be based in the following countries: Belarus, Central African Republic, Crimea region of Ukraine, Congo, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Syria, Ukraine, Russia, Venezuela, Yemen and Zimbabwe. 
Application and evaluation process
- Application deadline: 15 August 2025, 23:59 (ET)
- Evaluation process: Applications will be reviewed by the Zendesk Foundation and the Global Social Impact Council until the end of September 2025.
- Notification of results: Applicants will be notified by the end of September 2025.
