The program aims to support unemployed and freelance journalists in continuing their journalistic work, remaining in the sector, and contributing to media pluralism through solidarity.
The program will remain open for applications from December 2, 2025, to February 15, 2029.

Unemployed and/or freelance journalists who do not have a permanent press contract with any media organization will be supported under the “Copyright Support Program.”
Within the scope of this program: The program is designed to support a single content (such as an article, interview, video, or other individual product) submitted by eligible applicants. Intellectual outputs produced by unemployed and freelance journalists are supported in three main categories.
- News: Current news reports are supported. It is expected that news pieces will be accompanied by photographs or other visual materials.
- Video News: High-quality video journalism is supported in this category. Due to higher production costs, the amount of financial support is greater.
- Investigative Reports: In-depth journalistic investigations are supported. These typically require more time and resources than standard news, often including third-party services, travel, accommodation, multimedia, and interactive elements.
