UEFA Foundation for Children – 2025 Call for Projects

As it does every year, the UEFA Children's Foundation will support projects aimed at improving children's living conditions. Applications are being accepted from civil society organizations working with children as part of the 2025 call for projects. CSOs can submit proposals in the areas of health, education, access to sports, personal development, integration of minorities, and protection of children's rights.

Who Can Apply?

  • Civil society organizations that are officially registered for at least three years or recognized by institutional partners.
  • Organizations with approved and published financial audits or reports for the past three years.
  • Organizations operating in accordance with the UEFA Foundation’s code of ethics.

Mandatory Criteria (Deal-Breakers)

  • Projects will be rejected if they:
  • Do not primarily involve children under the age of 18.
  • Include less than 20% participation by girls.
  • Are primarily focused on scouting or promoting young athletic talent.

Additional Assessment Criteria (Weighted)
Projects will be evaluated based on:

  • Number of beneficiaries and focus on children
  • Age range of children involved
  • Level of participation by girls and gender mainstreaming
  • Integration of sports activities
  • Environmental considerations
  • Socio-economic context and relevance to local needs
  • Collaboration with institutional partners
  • Medium- and long-term sustainability
  • Inclusion of minorities and children with different abilities
