As part of a new project launched by the Uğur Mumcu Investigative Journalism Foundation (um:ag) with the aim of strengthening human rights and democratic awareness, effective cooperation networks will be established in seven regions of Turkey with the participation of non-governmental organizations (NGOs), journalists, activists, and academics. The first meeting of the project will take place online on July 11, covering the Black Sea region.
The project, which is considered an important step towards strengthening civil society, also aims to contribute to the consolidation of human rights and democratic values. The initiative, which aims to raise awareness across Turkey, also prioritizes encouraging the community's active participation in democratic processes.
