The United Nations Office at Geneva (UN Geneva) has opened applications for the 64th Graduate Study Programme (GSP) in 2026, aimed at master's and doctoral students selected from around the world. The theme of this year's intensive two-week summer program is "Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies.
Purpose of the Program
The UN Geneva Graduate Study Programme aims to provide graduate students with an in-depth understanding of the UN system and “International Geneva.” This year, participants will meet with UN experts and diplomats around the theme “Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies: Realities, Risks, and Opportunities,” attend lectures and panels on current global issues, and gain practical experience through group work and institutional visits.

- Date: 29 June – 10 July 2026
- Location: Geneva, Palais des Nations (UN Geneva Office)
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must:
- Be aged between 22 and 32,
- Be enrolled in a master's, doctoral, or similar graduate program at the time of application (graduates who are no longer students are not eligible),
- Have excellent command of English,
- Not be employed in a full-time job.
Support Provided
- Program fee: None (participation is free).
- Financial support: The UN does not provide scholarships or grants for travel, visa, accommodation, or meal expenses. All costs are the responsibility of participants.
