In the wake of the pandemic which has highlighted the importance of carrying out community development hand-in-hand with World Heritage conservation, the resilience of the WHV organizations in mobilizing efforts and actions towards World Heritage and continuing the engagement of youth and communities is invaluable.
In recognition of these continued efforts of the WHV Initiative, this Call is an invitation for organizations and institutions to apply for the WHV 2022 Campaign with their proposed projects, to be implemented between June and December 2022.
To empower the Commitment to World Heritage, the World Heritage Centre invites all youth organizations, NGOs, institutions, and public authorities that wish to involve young people in World Heritage preservation through the implementation of action camps at World Heritage sites in 2022.
