Within the scope of our project titled Monitoring Freedom of Association II, supported by the European Union and carried out in cooperation with the Third Sector Foundation of Turkey (TÜSEV), we conducted a study visit to Stockholm, the capital of Sweden.

As part of the visit, dialogue mechanisms between civil society and the public sector in Sweden, the environment for freedom of association, and support models for civil society were examined on site. In this context, meetings were held with SALAR International, the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Swedish Agency for Youth and Civil Society (MUCF), the Public–Civil Society Dialogue Platform (NOD), and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA).

During these meetings, good practices and experiences were shared, and mutual exchange of information took place on policies and cooperation models aimed at strengthening civil society.

Representatives from Dünya Evimiz International Solidarity Association, 1984 Association, Women in Science and Technology Association (Sisters Lab), Flying Broom Foundation, Ali İsmail Korkmaz Foundation, TÜSEV Lawyers Network, Union of Municipalities of Türkiye, General Directorate of Foundations, and the Republic of Türkiye Directorate for EU Affairs participated in the study visit.
