The Open Horizons Project, supported by the European Union's Horizon Europe program, has launched open call periods to empower women leaders in the technology sector and support DeepTech startups. The program offers startups the opportunity to develop joint pilot projects and commercialize with Europe’s leading corporate companies.
Scope of the program and support amount
Equity-free grant support of up to €55,000 will be provided to the selected startups as a result of the evaluation. The support is provided in stages: the initial phase (€10,000) and the pilot implementation phase to be carried out with a corporate partner (up to €45,000).

- Green Technology (Greentech)
- Blockchain
- Other deep technology (DeepTech) and digital innovation fields
Who can apply?
Startups applying to the program must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be registered in one of the countries of the European Union or Horizon Europe associated countries, including Turkey.
- Have at least one female manager/founder with at least 25% shareholding/ownership in the founding team or in C-level (CEO, CTO, CSO, etc.) senior management.
- Have received less than a total of €1 million in funding/investment prior to the application date (early stage).
Under the program, there will be a total of 3 open call cycles between 2025 and 2027. Each cycle has its own application deadline. The exact closing dates (deadlines) of the current call windows should be followed on the project’s official website.
