This workshop will address key international standards such as the Nelson Mandela Rules and focus on the rights of prisoners with special needs, including women, children, LGBTI+ individuals, and persons with disabilities. Over the course of two days, interactive tools, case studies, and practical examples will be used to strengthen participants’ capacity to document rights violations, make use of monitoring mechanisms, and contribute to ensuring accountability within Turkey’s prison system.
Approximately 15 CSO representatives will be able to participate in the workshop. Applicants may indicate their needs related to transportation, accommodation, accessibility, etc. in the application form.
