We invite you to attend a training session we will be holding in Istanbul on Wednesday, 10 September 2025, between 09:00 and 17:00, in collaboration with META, with the aim of helping civil society organisations become more familiar with META platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) and develop their skills in making the best use of the communication opportunities offered by these platforms.
What does the training cover?
- Best practices for managing Meta accounts and content
- Introduction to Meta advertising
- Best practices for awareness advertising
- Best practices for performance advertising
- Best practices for creative
- Measuring and evaluating advertising
- Meta messaging applications
Who can participate and how?
- CSOs wishing to apply for the training are expected to be actively using one or more META platforms and to have a META advertising account.
- Participants must have administrator rights for the advertising account of the CSOs they represent and must bring their own laptop to the workshop.
- Travel and accommodation expenses for participants whose applications are accepted will be their own responsibility.
- Since only a limited number of participants will be accepted, two people from each CSO will be able to attend.
- The application form will be available until 23:59 on Friday, 31 August 2025.
Selected CSOs will be informed separately about the training venue and other details following the evaluation of applications.

Evaluation Criteria
- Currently having a digital communication plan/strategy
- Thematic area distribution (environment and nature conservation, gender and women's rights, youth, children's rights/organisations, and education)
- Previous participation in STGM's STOK programme Digital Capacity Building Training is preferred.
